In my workshop the cabinet doors were shortened, the bottom rail saved, and the new raw wood on the stiles was stained to match the existing cabinetry. A new cabinet box was made of 3/4" cabinet plywood, as the original of pressed wood was impossible to modify. A new face frame was also constructed.
