A client requested that I craft a large ladle. So I found a nice piece of well aged applewood in my barn and took to carving. It's hard to tell the size, even with the apple for scale (could be a tiny apple, but it's not). The ladle measures 4 inches side to side and 3.5 inches front to back. The total height is 13.5 inches. Perfect for chili or chowdah!
